To record your name for NameCoach in your profile go to MyClasses and login with your SU username and password.

*The Canvas App does not allow for you to access your MyClasses profile fully.  Please use a browser on your device to access MyClasses and record from within your profile.

Click on the three dashes in the top left corner then select Account and NameCoach Profile.

You will be prompted o either Record your name, or Edit a previous recording.

Enter your required information and select a Gender Profile if desired.

Select Phone to record by phone, Web Recorder to create a recording directly from your device or Uploader to upload a previously recorded file you have saved. 

-If you select Phone:

-Enter your phone number to receive a call with instructions to record your name by phone.

-You will see a prompt concerning the call being in queue and estimated time.

-If you are using Web Recorder:

-Your browser may ask permission to use the microphone, you must select Allow to use this feature.

-Hit Record.  Slowly and clearly pronounce the name you wish to be called.   

-Once finished click Stop.

-If your are selecting Uploader:

- Find and select the file you have saved on your phone.

-You may use apps such as GarageBand or Voice Memos to pre-record and upload.

Once recorded or uploaded, verify the recording and choose Submit and Finish to complete. 

Alternatively, if you have a course that is using NameCoach you may select the course from your dashboard and find the NameCoach option on the course menu or the NameCoach assignment in Assignments. (The assignment will be named by your professor and will not be exactly as shown below).  See How to Record Name for NameCoach from the Course Menu or How to Record Name for a NameCoach Assignment in MyClasses for more information.
