Creating Advising Appointments
Activate Student Advisees
Under Advisement in the left hand navigation menu:
- My Advisees link gives you information about your advisees.
- You can communicate with your advisees by using either Notify Selected Advisees or Notify All Advisees at the bottom of the list.
- Use View Data for Other Students to review advising information for a student that is not one of your assigned advisees.
- Advisee Student Center tab gives you hold information and other options.
- Click Activate Registration to grant the selected advisee registration access. Once clicked, a window will open. Click Eligible to Enroll box and then click OK. This will activate the student’s registration.

Students
Scheduling an Advising Appointment
- Click Main Menu> ON CAMPUS Appointments.
- Select the Department Calendar by clicking on the magnifying glass icon to the right of the search bar.
- Select Academic Advising from the Search Results.
- Select the Appointment Reason by clicking on the magnifying glass to the right of the search bar.
- Select Academic Advising from the Search Results.
- Click OK to the Message “You will only be allowed to schedule appointments with assigned advisors or that advisor’s backup.”
- Find an appointment you would like to schedule from the available appointments table, and click SCHEDULE.
- A box should pop up saying a confirmation email has been sent.
