    • Charter Free Internet offer for 2 months
    • AT&T COVID-19 response: offers open hot-spots, unlimited data to existing customers, and $10/month plans to low income families
    • Verizon COVID-19 response: no special offers, but following the FCC agreement.
    • Sprint COVID-19 response: follows FCC agreement, provides unlimited data to existing customers, and, starting Tuesday, 3/17/2020, will allow all handsets to enable hot-spots for 60 days at no extra charge.

  • MyClasses Canvas
MyClasses Canvas is the learning management system used at Salisbury University. If you need a refresher on such tasks as uploading an assignment, sending a message to your instructor or checking your grades, please spend some time with the MyClasses Help for Students site. In the case of a prolonged campus closure, your instructor may choose to use MyClasses more intensely to keep your learning on track.

  • Devices
You can access MyClasses Canvas and other tools you may need to stay connected using most web-enabled devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Most of the tools are browser-based, so all you will need is your device and an Internet connection.

Find out more about using your mobile device to access MyClasses via the Canvas Student app.

  • Communication
    • Notifications in MyClasses
Don’t miss anything! Stay up to date with your courses by ensuring that your MyClasses notification settings are set to provide you with alerts about new announcements, content or assignment postings by your instructor. Review the course syllabus carefully, and reach out to your instructor via the Inbox (Conversations) tool in MyClasses (unless you are requested to use a different means of communication) with any questions or concerns.

    • Email
Monitor your Salisbury University email account for important course and university communications.

    • Zoom
Zoom is a web conferencing system that offers a variety of interactive features to help you collaborate and connect online. Some instructors will use Zoom for live online class meetings during the originally scheduled class meeting time. Zoom may be used by your instructors to host classes, office hours and meetings online. Students can also use Zoom to host meetings external to MyClasses.
