Problem

Unable to access 1098-T form or cannot see my  NavBar>Menu> Self Service > Campus Finances folder within GullNet.

Solution

Be sure that you have updated your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and java.  Also turn off any pop-up blockers.  Then try to access the 1098-T again. If that doesn't work, then please email 1098T@salisbury.edu for further assistance and questions. Also, make sure that you are logged into your student GullNet account.

Students receive the following email at the start of tax season:

Subject: 1098-T Information

Body:

Each year, the University is required to furnish a form 1098-T Tuition Statement to every student who attended during the previous calendar year. The information on the form is also being furnished to the IRS and pertains to the Hope Scholarship, Lifetime Learning Credits, and the American Opportunity Credit, for which you or another tax payer may be eligible.

1098-T information for 2022 will soon be available electronically via GullNet. It is our hope that the University community will use this opportunity to further our Campus Sustainability Initiatives by accessing the 1098-T form on GullNet.  By retrieving the form on-line, you help reduce our carbon emissions.  Last year, 65% of our students received their 1098-T via GullNet.  We are hoping to significantly increase the participation rate this year as part of our commitment to reach 0% campus emissions by 2050.

In order to access the information, you must consent to receive it. If you have previously consented to receive your information electronically, you will not have to do so again.
